Wearing pricey diamonds in a rhinestone world can make you stand out … to cops.
A woman recovering from surgery at a rehab center recognized a familiar face — her nurse’s aide from an assisted-living facility, where $8,000 worth of her bling had gone AWOL, cops said, reports the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.
The patient allegedly told officers the aide, identified as Candace McCray, was wearing her diamond earrings at the rehab center.
When officers later questioned McCray, they noticed she was still sporting the same studs, records show.
What about the other missing jewelry?
